The Princess of Wales is a Victorian corner pub on Chalcot Road in Primrose Hill, known for its Sunday roasts, cocktails and garden. Its owners are a long-term client of ours, and we redesigned and rebuilt the site on WordPress.
What we built
- Table bookings through DesignMyNight, so reservations land in the system the pub already uses.
- Menus, gallery and a virtual tour to show people what they’re walking into before they arrive.
- Venue and party hire for private events and weddings.
- Cocktail masterclasses, what’s on and seasonal pages such as Christmas, which the team can add and swap as the year goes on.
- Gift vouchers and careers pages.
- Links to the group’s sister venues, so a visitor who finds one pub can find the others.
WordPress was the right choice here. The team runs events and menus that change week to week, and it lets them make those changes themselves.
