Prince of India is a family business running three Indian restaurants across Baden-Württemberg: Prince of India and House of India in Mannheim, and Prince of India in Stuttgart. We designed and built the site, and the systems behind it.
What we built
- One site for three restaurants. Visitors pick a location and get that restaurant’s menu, reservations, story and contact details. Shared pages such as careers and the group’s story sit above them.
- German and English throughout. German is the default, and every page has an English version.
- A bespoke booking system. Each restaurant takes table reservations through a system we built for them, rather than a third-party widget.
- A custom CMS. The team updates menus, prices and pages themselves, without needing us for every change.
- Opening hours synced with Google. Hours come from each restaurant’s Google Business listing, so the site and Google Maps always agree. The homepage shows each restaurant’s hours for today.
Why it matters
With three restaurants, details drift out of date quickly. Holiday hours change, a menu gets updated in one place and not another. Keeping hours on Google as the single source, and giving the team their own CMS for everything else, means there is one place to change each thing.
