Portal started as the tool we use to run Making Stuffs. We wanted invoices, receipts, time and payroll in one place, so we built it. It turned out other small businesses wanted the same thing, so we opened it up to them too.
What it does
- Invoicing. Import the invoices you already have, or send branded ones for recent work.
- Expenses. Snap or upload a receipt and it reads the details for you, or enter them by hand.
- Bank sync with Starling.
- Time and projects. Track time against projects, then turn those hours into an invoice.
- Payslips and basic staff management.
- A client area where your clients can follow their invoices.
It’s in beta and open for early access. Setting up takes a few minutes, you don’t need a card, and your data stays in the UK.
